Coordenador de Marinha – Modec – Botafogo
To develop activities such as:
Responsible for onshore coordination of Marine Operations Activities & Procedures for Modec do Brasil (MdB) fleet, as well as Classification Society (Class) and Statutory Compliance related to FPSO/FSO Fleet controls.
Responsible to lead the Class & Marine team to achieve the needed compliance and reliability of the Fleet’s assets (as per each individual contract´s requirements) during its entire life cycle through the close monitoring of the Marine systems, systematic analysis of field inspections/reports and excellence in providing technical support and guidance for the Fleet Operations Teams.
Lead the communication with Local Class Authority, coordinate the interface with MdB Units Operations Management and Responsible for Extension Project Program for MODEC Fleet.
Coordinate the offshore hull integrity inspectors, embarkation plans, and work assignment. Ensure their qualification and compliance with the Marine Integrity Guides and its related Responsibility.
Coordinate execution and assure proper assessment to the Management System Tools assigned to the team, as: Management of Changes (MOC), Root Cause and Failure Analysis (RCFA), Technical Queries (TQ), Notice of Incidents (NOIs), Lessons Learned (LL).
Coordinate execution of marine inspections and recommendations that effectively ensure the correctness and / or mitigation of failure mechanisms of the controlled structures through the evaluation and approval of inspections carried out.
Engineering graduate level with CREA: Naval Architect, Mechanical Engineer. Post-graduation degree in Oil & Gas or Marine Engineering will be welcome.
Experience with FPSO Class Maintenance and Marine Management. Robust background with offshore Maintenance (CMMS) system is desired.
Previous experience in Oil and Gas Industry and similar leadership position.
Ability to communicate and facilitate intra-department and inter-department communication.
Adequate knowledge of the facilities/systems of FPSO with specific attention to his discipline, and working of Process, Mechanical, Piping, Structure, Electrical & Telecom, Instrumentation and Marine engineering.
Good knowledge of class, statutory and regulatory requirements.
Good knowledge of industry standards applicable in incumbent’s discipline.
